Man U: Wishing it was still Fergie time?
Apparently Sir Alex Ferguson has a book out. You might of missed it in the news yesterday 😉
Whether you buy the book or not you wouldn’t mind sparing a penny for his thoughts on the current state of the team he has left behind. Or indeed the thoughts of new incumbent David Moyes when he chronicles this period in his own autobiography.
However you dress it up, Man U have not started the season well and it’s almost incredulous to believe that eight games into the new campaign they sit level with newly promoted Hull – who were long odds on to take the drop at the start.
As we saw last night even a team who are playing well in the Premier League, Arsenal, can find life tougher in the Champions League and Real Sociedad shouldn’t be underestimated here.
I think Group A leaders Man U are too short in the betting in their first ever clash against their Spanish rivals even allowing for the fact the Sociedad, fourth in La Liga last season, have not started their domestic season well.
In the Champions League Real Sociedad were unlucky not to get a point against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany in their last group game, going down to an injury-time winner.
The Manchester United/Real Sociedad supremacy is set at around 1-1.2 with Star Spreads and at those prices I’m a seller.
ADVICE
SELL Manchester United/Real Sociedad supremacy at around 1
