Saturday NFL Preview
Seattle Seahawks v New Orleans Saints
Wild card team New Orleans Saints travel the NFC’s number 1 seed Seattle Seahawks. These teams met in week 14 of the regular season and Seattle prevailed 34-7 in a dominant display. Since then however Seattle have somewhat stuttered into the playoffs and New Orleans were disappointed to be pipped to the divisional crown by the Carolina Panthers. As New Orleans looked good in a road win at Philadelphia last week they are being talked up as being able to cause a shock and find themselves 9 pt underdogs here. I still fancy a rested Seattle to prevail and think a small buy of total points at 46 in this game could be a touch of value. Seattle have a defence notorious for scoring plays and with an elite quarterback in Drew Brees for New Orleans expect the scoreboard to keep ticking over.
Recommendation: – buy Total Points Seattle v New Orleans 0.5pt at 46
New England Patriots v Indianapolis Colts
The Andrew Luck led colts produced a huge comeback against Kansas last week and this still seems to be fresh in punters minds as they travel to New England. Put simply New England are value for this game and buying their supremacy on the spreads could be the way to go. They are well rested and buying at 8.5 should help keep you awake for the late game.
Recommendation:- buy New England/Indianapolis 2pts @ 8.5
