Arsenal v Bayern Munich

Published On February 19, 2014 | By dominic | Star Spreads

We landed another small, but very welcome profit last night.

We sold goals at 2.95 at the Etihad and although Barcelona’s 90th minute second goal was unwelcome, it still was a satisfactory night and we’ve crossed the 100 point profit level in February 🙂

We head to the Emirates tonight for another fantastic match – on paper at least. It’s almost 12 months to the day since it finished 3-1 to Bayern Munich who of course went on to win the title at Wembley…

HEAD TO HEAD RECORD
(Max last 10 only)
Mar 2013 C League B Munich 0-2 Arsenal
Feb 2013 C League Arsenal 1-3 B Munich
Mar 2005 C League Arsenal 1-0 B Munich
Feb 2005 C League B Munich 3-1 Arsenal
Mar 2001 C League B Munich 1-0 Arsenal
Dec 2000 C League Arsenal 2-2 B Munich

Bayern are a short price to win tonight (around 7/10 with our fixed odds sister company Star Sports) which looks tight.

They are however, most probably, the best team in Europe at present and are on a staggering good run of 20 wins from 21 matches.

Arsenal are going to find it tough and need to get something to take to Germany – unlike Man City who looked to blow their chances last night.

All the Star Spreads markets are pretty much in line with expectations but I’ll go low on goals again tonight – co-incidentally at the same price 2.95.

The previous six Champions League encounters have produced an average of 2.66 goals so there’s a marginal edge in selling.
