Sunderland v West Ham (8pm, SKY)

Profit for the column of 25.5 points yesterday, with Liverpool hammering Spurs 4-0 – the superiority bet never looked in trouble.

The final Premier League match of the ‘weekend’ is at the Stadium Of Light (8pm, SKY) where Sunderland play host to West Ham.

Sunderland are in desperate need for three points having only taken one point from a possible 15 in their last five matches. They also have the worst home record in the whole league.

That has left them in the bottom three and even a win tonight will not lift them out of that zone.

West Ham might look safe in 11th but they are far from safe. They are only eight points away from the bottom three themselves and Hammers fans were far from happy midweek when a large section of ‘supporters’ booed Sam Allardyce after their team’s WIN against Hull.

Not sure there will be too many goals in this one – the reverse fixture finished 0-0 in December.

HEAD TO HEAD RECORD
(Max last 10 only)
Dec 2013 Premier West Ham 0-0 Sunderland
Jan 2013 Premier Sunderland 3-0 West Ham
Sep 2012 Premier West Ham 1-1 Sunderland
May 2011 Premier West Ham 0-3 Sunderland
Dec 2010 Premier Sunderland 1-0 West Ham
Sep 2010 Carling Sunderland 1-2 West Ham
Apr 2010 Premier West Ham 1-0 Sunderland
Oct 2009 Premier Sunderland 2-2 West Ham
Apr 2009 Premier West Ham 2-0 Sunderland
Nov 2008 Premier Sunderland 0-1 West Ham

Sunderland might just want it a little more tonight and on home soil can hopefully win by at least a goal to give us a profit on the superiority market.
