Spurs are long odds-on for the win and it’s not surprising given the abject record of Partizan in European games. They have not won a European Group Stage match in their last 16 attempts.
The Serb’s did hold Spurs 0-0 in the reverse fixture but will find it a whole new ball game tonight and have precious little to play for, beyond pride, as they have already been KO’d from this competition.
Much has been made of the Europa League causing fatigue problems for Spurs in the Premier League – they have suffered four home defeats on the Sundays following Thursday night games but shouldn’t need to get out of second gear to win here.
