S.P.Read Esq: Hull v Man U
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Premier League game on Sunday (3pm SKY) between HULL v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
It’s the final fling in the Premier League on Sunday with all eyes at the bottom of the table rather than the signed and sealed top of the table placings.
Newcastle or Hull for relegation ?? Both matches will unveil live on SKY and Hull have a mountain to climb as they face Man U knowing that nothing other than three points will be enough and then still relying on Newcastle not beating West Ham.
Recently we’ve seen Liverpool lose at home, Arsenal only draw 0-0 against Sunderland and Chelsea thumped by West Brom so strange things can happen at this stage of the season.
Hull have been beaten by Man U in their last seven head to heads and will have to chase the game so much today they could prove even more vulnerable. It’s hard to see how there won’t be plenty of goals in this one.
Hull’s manager Steve Bruce is expected to name an unchanged side with Jake Livermore remaining suspended because of a failed drug test. Bruce has never led a side to victory against Man U.
Goalkeeper Victor Valdes is on standby to make his first start for Man U if David De Gea fails to overcome a hamstring injury.
Wayne Rooney returns from a dead leg, but Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw are unlikely to play.
Newcastle can’t rely on a draw being good enough in case Hull do pull off the Houdini act against Man U. They have a worse goal difference and would go down in that scenario. Newcastle v West Ham seldom produces many goals and depending on events elsewhere things could get pretty desperate on Tyneside this afternoon.
The Star Spreads trade for me is to buy goals on the Hull v Man U game.
