GOOD RESULT YESTERDAY WITH THE SELL OF THE THIRD MATCH GOAL AT WHITE HART LANE !!!!!
I sold at 76 minutes, for 17 points, and the third goal went in after just 30 minutes for a profit of 782 points on the trade.
The eighth Rugby World Cup gets underway tonight at Twickenham as England host Fiji (8pm).
The 20-team World Cup runs until 31 October and will take place in stadiums across England and at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
On three occasions the host country have run out the eventual winners and England will be keen to emulate this year’s favourites New Zealand who won the last tournament which came on home soil for them in 2011.
It was last hosted by England in 1991 when Australia beat Will Carling’s England 12-6 in the final.
England last went on to win the tournament in 2003 thanks to Jonny Wilkinson’s dramatic drop goal and they are ranked fourth this year.
Fiji have only beaten one tier one nation (Italy) in the last eight years and it should be simply a question of how far whether than if England will win. However, Fiji will be boosted by the return from injury from the sensational Nikola Matawalu and come here on the back of a win in the Pacific Nations Cup.
This is a tough group for England as they sit alongside Australia, Wales, Uruguay as well as Fiji.
A 23/26 superiority spread on Star Spreads looks a little generous on the selling side and I am taking advantage in the hope that Fiji can contain England in what should prove a thrilling start to the tourney.
