S.P.Read Esq: Bournemouth v Newcastle

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Premier League 12.45pm kick off on Saturday between BOURNEMOUTH v NEWCASTLE and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadNothing like a relegation ‘six pointer’ at the beginning of November but that’s exactly what we have on Saturday lunchtime when the BT cameras are at Bournemouth for the visit of Newcastle.

Early birds may have also caught the Australian game Newcastle Jets v Western Sydney Wanderers which is also live on BT and I’ll leave it to you to decide which ‘Newcastle’ will create the most excitement….

Pleased with the late winner from Spurs on Thursday to continue the resurgent period of tipping for this column – I was on a buy of the Spurs WIN index !!

Not much history between Bournemouth and Newcastle and given it’s a 1/5 chance (special price calculated by Star Sports fixed odds) that at least one of them will be in the Championship next season it will be a true test of character at the Vitality Stadium.

One thing is sure – the draw helps no team and a stalemate could easily see both teams in the relegation zone come close of business this weekend.

Bournemouth’s manager Eddie Howe said: “It’s a huge game and we’re desperate to make sure that we pick up points and get the confidence back that only a win will bring. Once you do that, the world seems a totally different place in terms of football.”

Bournemouth’s Artur Boruc and Steve Cook are both fitness doubts, having missed the last two games with thigh and ankle injuries respectively.

For Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot has overcome a thigh problem.
