S.P. Read Esq: Chelsea v Man U
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Sunday’s Premier League game between CHELSEA v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
Mourinho’s back at Stamford Bridge – just this time he is in red.
It’s been a weekend of fluffed chances so far in the Premier League – Man City, Arsenal and Spurs all drawing with just Liverpool taking advantage.
Chelsea have the chance to move into the top three and Man U can go from 7th to 5th so there’s plenty at stake.
Whilst Man U had an easy 4-1 win over Fenerbahce on Thursday that recent game may just count against them, I’m also not sure that we should read too much into the result as the game revolved around two penalties for Man U in just three minutes.
Chelsea have fresh legs having had eight days to prepare for this. They were impressive when beating defending champions Leicester 3-0 last Saturday.
Mourinho said: “I don’t have to analyse [Chelsea’s] start to the season but, when you look at the table and you see where they are, in the middle positions, it cannot be bad.
“I knew that working in England, staying in the Premier League, I would, sooner or later, have to play against Chelsea and I would have to go to Stamford Bridge. The computer has decided that I have to go now, so we go.”
