S.P. Read Esq: Everton v Arsenal
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Tuesday’s Premier League clash between EVERTON v ARSENAL and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
Arsenal could go back to the top of the Premier League tonight if they beat an out of form Everton at Goodison – although with Chelsea playing Sunderland tomorrow night their tenancy might not last for long.
Everton’s season started with so much promise with four wins and a draw from their opening five games but their recent form has been the polar opposite with just one league win since that opening sequence.
They have also become something of a draw specialist side – with four 1-1 draws against Crystal Palace, Man City, Swansea and Man U.
Arsenal remain unbeaten in the league since the opening day of the season and unlike Man City and Liverpool the wobbles haven’t set in yet. The Gunners have scored 11 goals in their last three league games.
Arsenal’s manager said Arsene Wenger: “When you look at the teams around us, you can see that the margin of difference between the teams has shrunk a lot. So the way you respond in every single game is absolutely vital.
“What is for sure is at the moment every game is like a cup final for everybody. We just came out of a game where we were 1-0 down and for the sixth time in the season, we come back after having been down.
“So let’s continue to focus on that, on our resilience and on our motivation and after let’s see how far we can go.”
