S.P. Read Esq: WBA v Man U
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Saturday’s Premier League clash between WBA v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
West Brom’s 5-5 draw with Man U in 2013 remains in the record books as the highest score draw in Premier League history – the world record is 6-6 which was the score in 2010 between Motherwell and Hibs equalling a Belgium game with the same scoreline in 1999.
The last time these two met West Brom won 1-0 with Juan Mata sent off for United after just 26 minutes.
Not sure we’ll get anything like a 10 goal thriller tonight but it could be interesting with Man U running back into form but crucially only one place higher in the table than West Brom who are out performing their pre-season odds.
West Brom head coach Tony Pulis said: “Manchester United are going to be a massive challenge for us tomorrow. They’ve drawn four or five games where they could’ve won this year.
“United are on an unbeaten run and they deserve respect. I think they’ll finish in the top four. It’ll be tough for us. Jose (Mourinho) is a top manager and he will get it right. They’ve got threats from everywhere, whichever team he picks.
“We will look forward to the game. We’ve got momentum, we’re scoring lots of goals at home. Hopefully that can continue.”

Bookings looks tempting for a buy at 39 with Star Spreads. Anthony Taylor dished out 7 yellows in his last game, is averaging 37 this season and with these sides so close in the table it could well be a feisty affair.
