Pogba is expected to start for Man U after recovering from the illness which kept him out of the FA Cup win against Huddersfield but Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Marouane Fellaini are all likely to miss out.

Mourinho is understandably playing down hopes of winning the title. He said: “I normally say that Champions League dreams, they start around the quarter-finals and not yet.
