Then the coup de gras… Arsenal’s first win over one of the “Big Four” (excluding Anfield last year when Liverpool were 4th place incumbents… and the 3-0 defeat of 4th place finishers Tottenham) was cheered on with gusto as we had stood a £10,000 sell of the Gunners just after City were reduced to ten men.
