The Natural has been out buying Christmas presents for Smithy and The Captain this week but still finds time for his betting blog and some NFL gambling advice. Anyway, enough “mull” and onto the picks.

Big Bet One – Kansas City + 14

Two touchdowns ON THE ROAD is far too much to lay at Fortress Arrowhead. I know Kansas aren’t exactly a powerhouse, but they are a solid little 5-8 team. This is literally 7 points too high and I will be getting stuck into the Chiefs every which way.

Big Bet Two – Cleveland + 7

Can someone please explain to me why the Cardinals are suddenly laying a touchdown? I don’t see any reason to think them any better than the Browns, so this line feels to me like it should be closer to 3. These lightly-bet matches involving two poor teams often throw up big value bets because there is less money to knock the lines into shape- grab the points here.

Big Bet Three – Indy + 7

Indy can “afford” to lose this one and still be in the driving seat for the number 1 pick (non-NFL regulars will be shaking their heads at this point) so we’ll grab the TD at home against a divisional rival.
