5 Baseball Teams to Follow

Here are 5 baseball teams worth keeping an eye on this season.

1. LA Angels. This team looks stacked. A rotation lead by the precocious Jered Weaver and with prize signing Alber Pujols at 1B, they will be very hard to beat.

2. Philadelphia Phillies. On paper, you could argue this is the best rotation of all time: Cliff Lee, Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels and Joe Blanton could all be nuber ones at other teams. Fantastic infield and ex red sox closer Papelbon locking down the closer spot.

3. NY Yankees. The perennial AL East powerhouses have a couple of intriguing pitching additions that they must hope will bed in. As always, the offence will be powerful with the likes of A-Rod, Teixera, and Robinson Cano.

4. Texas Rangers. One of the best AL teams looks even better this year, with Japanese pitching sensation Yu Darvish brought in as number 2.

5. Red Sox. They could be anything and nothing. Over-paid underperformers like Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzales might catch fire, and their creaky rotation might hold up. It’s a lot of mights.
