Weight Update

F*** or as our Irish compadres would say Feck. I’m flirting with the 20 stone mark again and the fourth x on my T shirt size is nearly called for. I have 6 months to lose 4 stone and I’ve definitely dwelt in the stalls; in fact I’ve backed out of them after the off.

I have a lot of excuses but they are all bollocks. I need to shift this weight so I can keep up with my kids and be around to see them grow up and have their own kids: being a grandparent sounds great, all the fun without any of the responsibility got to stick around for that.

We all know it’s simple: calories in down, calories expended up but I just love the filthy grub and have a job where I sit on my harris all day. Well I’m on holiday next week in Cornwall so there’s no way on skimping on the fish and chips that week so it’ll have to be exercise up, which won’t be hard chasing after 2 kids.

Holiday over I’ll get cracking on the food. I think the way forward is to nish the calories that I could do without to use them on the stuff I love. So it’s biscuits out – they are nice but not to die for. Crisps out – I’m not a big crisps fan and usually only eat them because the missus leavers them lying around.

I’ve got to get the ball rolling in the right direction. 16 stone by Christmas – it’s still possible but it’ll take some doing. Anyway got to go. I’m meeting a mate in London at a pub called “The Jugged Hare” to watch Portugal beat the Czechs and apparently they’re famous for their pies. I know, I know but I’ve laid off the biscuits and crisps today.
