Manchester United v Fulham

It’s back baby. The Premiership is coming into its second week and after seeing what the teams are made of I think it’s time to put some cash into play this week. I am going to take a look at two games and see can we sniff out a few good value bets.

Manchester United v Fulham

The Red Devils host Fulham this weekend and United will be looking to get some points on the board after a disappointing game against Everton on Monday night. I watched the United game and was very impressed with new signing Kagawa. He looks a real player and I fully expect him to have a great year for the reds.

Man United looked like a team that needs a few more training sessions together to really click and then we will see the force that we are used to seeing.

Fulham had a great opener to their season with a 5-0 win over Norwich. New striker Petric looks like a bargain buy and most people will be buying him for their fantasy leagues.

Fulham’s demolition of Norwich can mean one of two things. 1 Fulham are a really good team this year and will be good value until the market catches up. 2 Norwich are one of the worst teams in the league and a 5-0 home win over them is not something to be shouting from the rooftops.

I think it’s the latter. Fulham will be put back in their place this week as a new Manchester United team blends together and hands out some punishment. I am not going to get into the habit of the sports pundits we have to listen to every Saturday tipping up a 1/3 shots but I will try and give you a good value bet in the game.

Draw at half time Manchester United win full time at 7/2 looks the bet for me. Giving United another 45 minutes to ease into their new style and player and to get the job done by the full time whistle.

I would also have a cheeky speculative bet on Kagawa to score anytime at 9/4.
