My Take on the Remaining NFL Teams

We’re now down to the last eight NFL teams so I thought I’d give you my take on each one. In betting order:

Denver Broncos

FO’ Real or Imposters? FO’ Real
Chances? Really good. I expect them to wallop Baltimore and go off at least 3pt favs against New England (probably 7.5pt favs against Houston)

New England Patriots

FO’ Real or Imposters? FO’ Real
Chances? Ok. I expect them to take care of Houston, but they have to pray Baltimore does them a favour by beating Denver. Not sure they’re balanced enough to march into Mile High and knock off Manning and the Broncos.

SF 49ers

FO’ Real or Imposters? They’re ok.
Chances? Ok. I make them a small bet at the prices against Green Bay and at least they’ll get to play Seattle at home (if Seattle beats Atlanta). But they’ve got a long way to go.

Green Bay Packers

FO’ Real or Imposters? They’re ok.
Chances? Struggling. They’ll probably lose to San Fran on the road. Then they’ll either have to beat a much better Seattle team or travel to Atlanta’s noisy dome. And they’ll be rags against Denver and New England in the bowl too.

Seattle Seahawks

FO’ Real or Imposters? FO’ Real
Chances? Ok. They have a great chance against Atlanta but they’d then need to travel to either Green Bay or San Fran before beating Denver or New England in the final. At some stage the air miles are going to catch up with them. Maybe next year.

Atlanta Falcons

FO’ Real or Imposters? Imposters
Chances? Struggling. They’ve got home field advantage for the next two games (and the final is also in a dome down the road where they get to play every year) but they’ll be underdogs for every remaining game off my ratings.

Houston Texans

FO’ Real or Imposters? Imposters
Chances? In a mess. They won’t win in New England. If they do, they won’t win in Denver. If they do, they might beat the NFC team on a neutral field. But I’m not holding my breath.

Baltimore Ravens

FO’ Real or Imposters? Imposters
Chances? Not this time, Gal. Not this time. Not this f***ing time. They won’t win in Denver. If they do, they won’t win in New England. If they do, they might beat the NFC team on a neutral field. But I’m not holding my breath.
