Total games too high
We’ve been here before. Several times.
In fact it’s the 37th time the two players have met (and that in itself is a record) and it’s Nadal who holds a 21-15 advantage but if you exclude clay (his favourite surface) then it’s Djokovic who is 12-8 in front.
So on that basis which way will the coin flip this evening. And I’m not talking about the pre-match coin flip from the umpire.
As you can see from the last 10 encounters the momentum is definitely with a resurgent Nadal.

In this tournament it’s been Nadal who has had the easier passage although he did have his serve broken for the first time during his straight sets defeat of Richard Gasquet.
World number one Djokovic struggled to get past a gutsy Stanislas Wawrinka in five sets.
Nadal’s return to form has been sublime when you allow for the fact he took seven months out with knee problems and is on a winning run of 21 matches on the hard court surface – traditionally thought his worst !!!
It’s a tough call for the Star Spreads punter. The market is expecting a close, long game with a total games spread of around 41-43. There doesn’t seem much fat in that if you’re a buyer and the play has to be a sell.
RECOMMENDATION
SELL total games at around 41
