Selling goals at Selhurst Park

If EVER a match had 0-0 written all over it – then it’s Crystal Palace v West Ham tonight.

Crystal Palace need a crystal ball to find out when their next goal is coming, they’ve only scored seven all season and are rooted firmly at the bottom of the table.

It’s the first home game in charge for new Palace boss Tony Pulis but the first away game hardly started well with a 1-0 defeat to Norwich.

Last time these two sides met it was a 0-0 affair….

West Ham are also struggling to hit the back of the net and are hardly setting the table alight with 12 goals this season and sit in 15th – three points away from the bottom three. Their win against Fulham at the weekend was their first win in six games, but how much can we read into that given Fulham are so poor at present ?

But such is the compact nature of the table a win tonight would see them leap frog to mid-division and relative safety – for the time being.
