Hearts positive of not being negative
It really comes to something when your manager, at the start of January, is proclaiming that getting ZERO points in the league table is an achievement.
But that’s exactly the sorry state of Hearts Football Club who were docked a hefty 15 points at the start of the season and COULD get into positive territory tonight as they look to move away from their current -2 points status.
It’s worth pointing out though that, even without the penalty, they’d still be bottom of the table but for the time being the manager Gary Locke is focussed on getting rid of the minus sign.
Locke said: “If we win the derby we go into plus points. It would be huge, psychologically, for everyone here, just getting into positive points would be fantastic. That’s been our aim.”
“Hibs are favourites, there’s no doubt about that. But I’m sure I’ve got players who can cause Hibs one or two problems.”
“We’ve had some good results this season against Hibs and Aberdeen, probably two of the bigger teams in Scotland.”
The Sky cameras are their tonight for the 7.45pm kick off and if recent encounters are anything to go by we are not exactly going to be in for a thriller at Easter Road:
