S.P. Read Esq. Besiktas v Arsenal
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P.Read Esq. previews the 7.45pm live Champions League game between BESIKTAS v ARSENAL and looks at the best opportunity available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
The temperatures have dipped notably over the last few days and all of a sudden it looks like summer is over 🙁
Add to that the return of Champions League football tonight and it really is time to draw the curtains and even consider putting the heating on.
Big match for Arsenal tonight in their first leg against Turkish outfit Besiktas as they both have their sights set on the Group stages of the lucrative tournament.
Besiktas v Arsenal
Champions League Qualifier
ITV 7.45pm
It’s an intimidating venue for Arsenal who will no doubt consider a draw as a positive result to take back to the Emirates.
Arsenal have a great record in the early stages of the Champions League competition and beat another Turkish club, Fenerbahce, at the same stage last season. However, they weren’t overly impressive on their Premier League reappearance on Saturday when needing an injury time goal to get past Crystal Palace.
In that match Arsenal’s left-back Kieran Gibbs suffered a hamstring injury and will miss both legs of this match.
I think it will be tight and am happy to buy the time of the first match goal at 37 minutes on Star Spreads.
Remember, this match is traded IN RUNNING on Star Spreads.
