Back to Cheltenham for day four and good news from yesterday – a nice profit !!!

It was a very much a case of THIRD time lucky as I finally got over the threshold on the distances market.

Mind you, when Vautour stormed home by 15 lengths in the opening JLT Novices’ Chase I would have been mightily disappointed not to have finished the day in front ;)

The distance market on Star Spreads was settled at 38.25 lengths which gave me a profit of 468.75 points to the recommended stake.

Cheltenham….. I’m back !!!

The spread today is 25-28 across the seven races.

I am a buyer again today – therefore I am looking at an average of 28/7 = 4 lengths to collect.

Although it looks an incredibly competitive days racing (including the Gold Cup) I think both the opening Triumph and the Foxhunter Chase could bring about decent margins. The going is changing quite significantly too and is now soft (good to soft in places) which I am hoping will help my cause.

Check out all the markets – Star Spreads have all the usual raceday markets including match bets and an array of markets in the Cheltenham Festival Specials section of the web site.
