Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Premier League match on Saturday on SKY between CHELSEA v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadStamford Bridge on Saturday evening for Chelsea v Man U – a match that in many ways doesn’t have the significance it should do.

‘First’ playing ‘third’ in the Premier League at this stage of the season should be a box office smash but the reality is whichever way this goes isn’t going to be disastrous for either team.

Even a loss for Chelsea would leave them five points clear and a game in hand of Man U who would jump into second.

A loss for Man U would still leave them in an automatic Champions League spot.

Perhaps on this basis a DRAW might be the best result all round and Chelsea have been masters of claiming a point in high profile matches this season with five draws in nine meetings against top-seven rivals.

Given Man U’s injury problems they may want more than that though.

United are on a run of six straight wins but manager Louis Van Gaal is without Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Daley Blind and Michael Carrick whilst Jonny Evans still suspended.

Van Gaal said on Friday “It’s the worst scenario” and it will lead to some serious shuffling of his pack in defence.

Van Gaal has arrived at a winning formula this season almost by trial and error but there is little doubt that his side is better now than when they faced Chelsea at Old Trafford in October – the match finishing 1-1.
