S.P.Read Esq: Doncaster v Leeds

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the 7.45pm kick off on Thursday in the Capital One Cup between DONCASTER v LEEDS and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadReally disappointing result with the trade on bookings last night although it was a case of being grateful for small mercies when a yellow card was finally produced in the last minute of the game.

More Capital One Cup action tonight with Doncaster taking on Leeds in a Yorkshire derby at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Doncaster are without winger Dany N’Guessan (foot) but midfielder Paul Keegan (knee) is expected to return and striker Nathan Tyson could also start after he came off the bench on Saturday.

Leeds could be boosted by the return of Luke Murphy and Stuart Dallas.

The Championship visitors are unsurprisingly favourites for this having started the new season well with a 2-0 defeat of Everton in a friendly and opening up with a 1-1 draw against Burnley – both goals coming late into the game.

The goals came even later in Doncaster’s League One opener when they drew 1-1 with Bury – both goals arriving in injury time !

I’ll again give bookings a spin in the hope that the derby game can be a little more feisty. Tonight’s ref Keith Hill averaged 39.4 points last season and is not averse to giving cards in this competition. Mind you, I said that last night too 🙁 Still, buying at 29 is enough to get me involved – a full 10 points better than the ref’s average.
