Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Champions League qualifier at 5.30pm tonight between FK QARABAG v CELTIC and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadChampions League qualifying action tonight and I’m heading to Azerbaijan for the second leg between Qarabag and Celtic which kicks off at 5.30pm and is live on BT SPORT.

Celtic take a slender 1-0 lead into the second leg – a late goal from Dedryck Boyata splitting the two sides at Celtic Park.

Since then, Celtic have made a winning start in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 win over Ross County on Saturday.

There’s been plenty of pre-match grumbling from Celtic that the pitch tonight is not up to scratch. This, combined with temperatures estimated to reach 37 degrees could lead to an eventful match.

Reports have suggested that the extremely hot weather has left 30% of the pitch unplayable, with other sections of the surface uneven and rutted.

Celtic captain Scott Brown: “We’re a big club and we need to produce results. It would be a big step if we can win this game. They’re very technical, they’ve got some skilful players and they try to work as a team. Overall we are as good as anybody in this competition and we need to go and show it.”

Qarabag will be boosted by a home crowd of 30,000.

I am having my first dabble back into the bookings market which rewards a yellow card with 10 points and a red with 25 points.

I am a buyer at 53 – there were four yellows at Celtic Park between these two but with more at stake tonight, the pitch concerns and high temperatures could all combine to see things boil over on the pitch too.
