S.P.Read Esq: The Community Shield

Star Sports (fixed odds) report nothing between Chelsea and Arsenal ahead of the CURTAIN-RAISER to the new season in the Community Shield at Wembley this afternoon (3pm).
Both teams are priced at 17/10 for the win with the draw at 12/5.
The last time the sides met – at the Emirates in April it was a 0-0 draw but with (relatively) little at stake it’s likely to produce goals as both teams attempt to get off the blocks flying and make a point.
The key team news is:
- Cech makes debut against old club
- Sanchez out through injury; Giroud on bench
- Remy starts ahead of injured Costa
- New signings Falcao & Begovic on bench
Both managers have done their level best to inject some needle into the game and it is likely we will see a fairly high octane start.
