S.P.Read Esq: Tottenham Hotspur v Monaco

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Europa League game on Thursday between TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v MONACO and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadSpurs are hovering just north of evens tonight to win a game they don’t need to win. That’s the dilemma for punters wanting to get involved in their 8.05pm Europa League match against Monaco.

Spurs have already qualified for the last 32 and need just a point to clinch top spot in Group J whereas nothing other than a win will be good enough for Monaco who will still need to rely on other games going their way.

In a wide open Premier League, Spurs are very much still in contention, currently sitting in fifth spot – six points off leaders Leicester. With the busy Christmas campaign approaching rapidly it’s hard to feel that Mauricio Pochettino will be giving tonight’s encounter much priority especially as Spurs have the prospect of further progress up the table with a home tie against Newcastle on Sunday.

Harry Kane for one is likely to be rested and midfielder Mousa Dembele will miss the game through illness.
