S.P.Read Esq: Nottingham Forest v Brighton

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Monday’s Championship match between NOTTINGHAM FOREST v BRIGHTON and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadBig game at the City Ground tonight with hosts Nottingham Forest battling to avoid the drop zone and Brighton pitching for one of the automatic spots.

Forest are nine points clear of the relegation zone, so in all probability have already done enough but will want to make it mathematically certain. In any event, it’s been a poor season for them and they can’t seem to get anything right at the moment.

Brighton have done well to recover from a huge mid-season blip having made a stunning start to the season – they beat Forest 1-0 on the opening day of the season which triggered a phenomenal 21 game unbeaten sequence in the League.

The Seagulls were badly out of form over Christmas but have re-grouped well and will start favourites for tonight’s match on account of their superior 29 point advantage over their Championship rivals and the shocking recent run of Forest.

Forest have won just one from their last 10 games under caretaker manager Paul Williams.

Brighton manager Chris Hughton pointed towards his sides excellent away record when speaking to his club’s website: “That’s one area that has given us the most confidence. Most teams are going to get better results at home as opposed to away from home. If you are a team that can go away from home, hold your own and have a chance to get results, then it’s a wonderful confidence-booster for the squad.”

A nice profit yesterday with the bookings but it was looking bleak for a long time. Plenty of late bookings from Mike Dean to save the day.

I’m a seller of the second match goal at 65 minutes with Star Spreads tonight.
