S.P.Read Esq: Man U v Bournemouth

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Sunday’s Premier League game at 3pm between MAN U v BOURNEMOUTH and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

Let’s face it. It’s hardly the climatic Sunday that SKY bosses would have wanted.

There was more drama in the Eurovision last night (how on earth did Australia lose from that position ???) than there is likely to be in the Premier League which fizzles out this afternoon.

The season as a whole has given plenty – the Leicester story will go down in folklore but the pertinent question is just how poor and inconsistent their rivals have been.

So, with the Champions crowned and the relegation places sorted it’s down to bragging rights at the top of the table and European places to be finalised on the final Sunday.

The permutations are still pretty vast. Particularly for Man U who are in fifth spot going in to the 3pm kick offs.

For a Champions League play-off spot Man U would need to beat Bournemouth and rely on Swansea beating Man City.

Bournemouth were long odds-on favourites to be relegated at the start of the season but have performed heroics – not only in staying up but also never really getting dragged into the relegation dogfight.

Eddie Howe’s side memorably beat Man U 2-1 in December and can play for fun this afternoon as they chase a remarkable double. Bournemouth have nothing to play for which could again make them trappy opponents for Man U.

Man U will be without defender Matteo Darmian with an ankle injury and Adnan Januzaj is also out with a hamstring injury. Marouane Fellaini is banned whilst also on the injury list are Bastian Schweinsteiger and Luke Shaw.
