S.P. Read Esq: Leicester v Man U

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Sunday’s Community Shield match between LEICESTER v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadA little more interest in the Community Shield this year with Leicester determined to prove they were not one hit wonders and the Mourinho era beginning proper for Man U.

The two sides drew 1-1 in both their Premier League meetings last season but the closed season signings certainly seem to favour United.

Signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan bolster what was already a pretty strong foundation and Leicester have lost N’Golo Kante to Chelsea.

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri says he will have a full strength squad to choose from, with forward Jamie Vardy back in training after featuring for England at Euro 2016.

He said: ”All managers and players want to play at Wembley Stadium. It’s one of the most famous stadiums in the world. This is not a friendly. We will give the maximum and also Manchester United will too. Both teams want to win it.”
