S.P. Read Esq: Liverpool v Spurs

Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Tuesday’s EFL Cup game between LIVERPOOL v SPURS and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.

SPreadNice profit with the sell of the third goal recommendation at Stamford Bridge.

A good game on paper tonight between Liverpool and Spurs but we have to caveat it with the fact that it’s the EFL Cup and both teams have big matches to look forward to at the weekend in the Premier League with them both very much in the title chase.

Liverpool are away to Palace and have the chance of taking the outright lead whilst Spurs are at home to Leicester.

Liverpool have not had the distraction of European football which might make the difference tonight and should edge it despite the absence of suspended captain Jordan Henderson.

Manager Jurgen Klopp will recall goalkeeper Simon Mignolet in place of Loris Karius, who he insists is his first choice.

Klopp said: ”That’s the ranking: Loris number one, Simon number two. Mignolet is a very serious player, a good professional.”

The goalkeeper news is cancelled out though as Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is likely to rest keeper Hugo Lloris, meaning Michel Vorm is likely to start in goal.
