Kazakhstan champions Astana are no pushovers as Celtic found out last season but with home advantage tonight it would be a surprise if the Bhoys don’t build up a sizeable lead to take to the second leg.
Celtic beat Astana 3-2 on aggregate to progress to the Group Stage last season but look a stronger side at the moment.
They have only lost two home matches in all competitions since December 2015 and Brendan Rodgers has proved a steady hand at the Parkhead tiller.
