Craig’s FA Cup BLOG
Can Wenger end the drought? It has been 9 Years since Vieira scored that Penalty against Man Utd in the FA Cup Final and Arsenal picked up a trophy.
Having dropped out of the Premiership race in March, Arsenal have won their last 6 matches, which started with the penalty win against Wigan in the Semi-Final, and included a 3-0 defeat of Hull.
Hull on the other hand have only drawn once and lost 5 matches since their Semi-Final triumph.
Hull won’t have Long and Jelavic which leaves them with limited options upfront. This will likely mean that Hull will look to be organized and hard to break down and look to hit Arsenal on the counter attack, leaving Arsenal with plenty of possession, but as we have seen Arsenal have not always been able to convert this into goals. Adding the fact Arsenal will likely be nervous with the pressure being on them, I can see the 1st Goal coming late on in the match.
