S.P.Read Esq: Man U v Chelsea
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the 4pm kick-off in the Premier League on Sunday between MAN U v CHELSEA and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
Swansea did me proud last night – their first goal arrived after 34 minutes so a nice profit on the recommended SELL on Star Spreads on the time of the first Swansea goal at 46 minutes.
And now for the weekend’s ‘main event’….

Firstly, you could easily argue the case that Chelsea should be odds-on for this rather than 6/4 against. That would be based on current form, Wayne Rooney missing through suspension and also head to head form. As you can see above, Chelsea are now unbeaten against Man U over the last six clashes.
With Man City slipping up at West Ham yesterday Chelsea will see this as a massive opportunity and such has been their amazing start to the season that people are already talking about them going through the whole season unbeaten. Usually, when you get that sort of talk it’s the cue for them to lose their very next game.
As well as Rooney being absent, United are expected to be without Radamel Falcao, however, they are likely to see the return of midfielder Angel Di Maria and Michael Carrick is fit again for what would be his first start of the season.
For Chelsea, Raimres could be back from injury whilst Jose Mourinho has said that Diego Costa has ‘a little chance’ of playing after a virus and a hamstring problem.
It’s interesting to note that for all the negativity about David Moyes’ reign at Old Trafford that Louis van Gaal has tallied up just one point more during the first eight matches. So, shock, horror – it could JUST be the team after all.
This ended 0-0 last season when the Chelsea bus was well and truly parked but I can see them going for the win this time around and against a fragile United defence can only see one outcome.
I am a buyer of CHELSEA / MAN U at around 0.25 with Star Spreads.
I also considered bookings with a view to buying but the starting spread was a tad high for my liking.
