S.P. Read Esq Liverpool v Tottenham
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to Saturday’s Premier League clash between LIVERPOOL v TOTTENHAM and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
Chelsea’s heroics this season have already given the Premier League an end of season feeling and it’s only early February.
Things could’ve been much different if Liverpool’s form hadn’t gone AWOL in 2017 and even three points at home on Saturday would not leave them in front of their Anfield rivals Tottenham.
Conversely, a win for Spurs would close the gap on Chelsea to six points ahead of The Blues visit to Burnley on Sunday.
Liverpool’s collapse in form is pretty puzzling to work out. They had four straight League wins at the end of 2016 yet in 2017 have yet to win a single League game and their ONLY success has been an unconvincing 1-0 win at Plymouth in the FA Cup.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said: “I cannot speak for another coach but all the managers, and [Jurgen] Klopp with his experience, he is clever like other managers to provide good balance.
“If you win you are a genius, if you don’t win you are criticised. You need to be natural, spontaneous and believe in the way you play, use your methods.
“It’s an easy answer: only work in the way you believe you can achieve big things.”

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last nine league and cup matches against Tottenham, winning six of them but the dynamics today make Spurs a trade for me. I’m selling the time of their first match goal at 55 minutes with Star Spreads.
Any other result – let’s just close down the Premier League for this season and hand over the Trophy to Chelsea. Anyone for cricket?
