Roy Meet Peter

It appears Roy’s the boy for the England job. I’d have been happier with Harry but recognise Roy might well be able to pull it out of the bag. More important to me is who will score the goals for England.

Well take your pick from these two. Player A scores 1 goal for every 193 minutes he wears an England Shirt but gets sent off every 16 games. Player B scores a goal for every 99 minutes he dons the International shirt (that’s nearly a goal a game average) and never gets sent off.

If I added Player A loves to help out a pensioner in return for personal services and Player B prefers the teenager pro you would pick A as he’s Wayne Rooney. Player B is Peter Crouch who must play in the Euros this year. A goal a game in international football is incredible; can you name any player for any country who can do that?

Yeah he just heads them in against the sh*t teams.Wrong! Wait for the shortlist for goal of the season he’ll be in it. 100/1 to be the top scorer in the Euros is not value yet. Wait until he gets the call and watch for top England goal scorer prices then. But Roy please please select this gangly goal machine and you might even win the Euros.
