Ouch No Crouch!

My worst fears have been realised. We’re going to the Euros without the beanpole international goal machine. Andy Carroll (mostly disappointing season with a couple of good games at the end), Jermain Defoe (Fairdos gets 1/3 a goal a game in internationals), Wayne Rooney (big tournament flop and suspended for 2 games due to dubious disciplinary record) and Danny Welbeck (4 international appearances no goals) get on the plane though.

Here is my bold prediction: England will now not win the Euros and I think no English player will get more than one goal. Yes I want them to and I always go into big tournaments thinking they could, especially in the euros where if you get through the groups 3 wins gives you the trophy. Well at least I held fire on the Crouch top Euro goalscorer betting. Well here’s hoping England prove me wrong.
