I landed a profit at Leopardstown with a buy of the distances at 12 and a make-up of 16.55.

The hope was that one of the maiden races would produce a decent winning margin and thankfully it came in the 6.55 with Free Eagle who stormed home by five and a half lengths.

The Premier League is back tomorrow at 12.45pm, and I’ll have a look at that in the morning but it’s Championship action this evening on Star Spreads with Doncaster at home to Blackburn at 7.45pm.

The head to head records are ancient history but they do show one thing. Doncaster don’t beat Blackburn.
