Going long at Cheltenham and at Bayern Munich….

Cheltenham in a mo but a quick word on Sunday.

I went for a buy in the Man City v Wigan FA Cup game and it came up trumps big style with a make-up of 70 against the buy at 32.

Seven yellow cards including one in the 92nd minute for good measure.

Happy days – a profit of 190 points in the bag – which we might well need for Cheltenham this week !!!

There are a myriad of markets available on Star Spreads today at Cheltenham – so give them a call whatever your view.

I’ll keep it brief today….

I’m having two bets:

CHELTENHAM

Buying distances at 29. Seven competitive races would lean you towards very close finishes but the hill at Cheltenham can do strange things and even horses who are upsides at the last can be 10 lengths apart at the line. I’m looking for an average of 4.1 per race but more realistically one ‘daft’ result. I certainly feel happier buying than I would selling – the four mile Terry Biddlecombe National Hunt Chase could be ripe for a decent margin.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

I’m buying goals at 3.45 between Bayern Munich and Arsenal in their second leg match tonight. Arsenal need to score and Bayern score for fun. So again, long, looks safest.

RECOMMENDED BET (scale 1-10 points)

BUY DISTANCES AT CHELTENHAM for 5 points at around 29 with Star Spreads
BUY TOTAL GOALS BAYERN / ARSENAL forĀ 10 points at around 3.45 with Star Spreads

RUNNING RETURN (MARCH): PROFIT 214.50 POINTS

RUNNING RETURN (YEAR): PROFIT 314.80 POINTS
