S.P.Read Esq: Southampton v Man U
Our daily columnist and pundit S.P. Read Esq. looks ahead to the Premier League match at 8pm on Monday between SOUTHAMPTON v MAN U and finds the best opportunities available on Star Spreads, the home of sports spread betting.
These two teams are 4th and 5th in the Premier League but are heading in different directions.
Momentum is a word that is over-used in sport – but in the absence of anything more original (well it is Monday after all) the momentum is very much with Man U and against Southampton who are faltering after their spectacular start to the season.
A win for either side tonight would lift them into third place behind Chelsea and Man City so there’s plenty at stake. A chance for Southampton to steady the ship or a chance for Man U to really start stamping their own title claims which looked highly unlikely early in the season.

Although Man U come into this on a four match winning streak they have looked decidedly vulnerable away from Fortress Old Trafford which is likely to provide hope for Southampton’s supporters that they can end their own current sequence of a draw and two losses.
