NFL Week 12 Preview

Some very tasty lines have caught the attention of this betting blog, so here’s some NFL gambling advice from The Natural- with a couple of big bets for you to get your teeth into.

GB @ Detroit

6 points is too many here for the home rag on Thanksgiving. Yes Green Bay look the pick of the bunch this year, but they have beaten a load of rubbish and are yet to convince me that they are Fo’ Real. Detroit have the weapons and the belief to keep this one close, and the crowd should be fired up for their biggest game of the year.

Big Bet 1: DET+ 6

Denver @ SD

There is no way this line should be anywhere near a touchdown. In fact you could make the case that Denver are the better team here. San Diego are over-rated every year and, while I don’t believe the Tebow hype, they have more than enough about them to march into SD and keep this close or win outright.

Big Bet 2: DEN + 7

NY Giants @ New Orleans

I’m gonna hitch my wagon to the Giants again and see if they can’t take care of business against the Dome Patrol. Eli seems to find his best stuff on the road and as the underdog (see their win in New England earlier in the year). They certainly are flawed but I think a full TD start is more than generous.

Big Bet 3: NYG + 7

Other Games to Watch

Oakland and Houston have both lost starting QBs in recent weeks, but I feel that the market has (as usual) rather over-valued the loss. I certainly wouldn’t caution you against taking the Raiders +4.5 against the Bears or the Texans -4.5 at the Jags.

I also can’t help thinking that the Chiefs should be getting more like 7 than the 10.5 start they enjoy hosting Pittsburgh.

Anyway, best of luck with your big bets this week. Check back for more gambling advice and a review of these bets early next week.
